Dear Alumni and Friends,
     2010 was the start of a new era for the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. A new dean, Dr. Wynne, was officially appointed in May, and a new director of alumni and community relations, Jessica Sobolik, was hired in June. Your School is clearly ramping up to meet the needs of its valued alumni and friends, including the names listed in this insert.
     Special thanks to all who contributed to the School of Medicine and Health Sciences through the UND Foundation this past fiscal year. Both our number of donors and number of gifts increased over the past fiscal year, which is especially exciting, particularly as our country continues to claw its way out of an economic downturn. Overall, nearly $3.4 million was raised. Thank you!
     According to the Donor Bill of Rights, it's the "tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life." In return for your thoughtful gifts, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences promises to keep you informed of the School's mission and the way we use donated resources to meet our strategic goals. We can also assure you that your gifts will be handled with respect and used for the purposes for which they were given.
